Nintendo Reveals Wii U Pro Controller 

During Nintendo Direct, Iwata revealed a brand new controller named “Wii U Pro Controller”. This is based on the classic controller pro for Wii. Just like the Wii U GamePad, this will also have clickable buttons. They have designed this controller specifically for multi-platform games. 

The only question is can this controller be used to play classic games like downloadable N64 or Gamecube games? 

Wii U GamePad Controller Details 

Today during the Nintendo direct presentation, Iwata has announced that the Wii U controller or “GamePad” will feature clickable analogue sticks. He also states that the redesigned controller will make it more comfortable to hold due to the hand grips. That’s not all though, he also states that you can use the Wii U GamePad as a television remote. 

It just gets better and better :D 

Question Of The Week: Metroid or Star Fox? (6/3/12)

E3 is only 2 days away and many Nintendo fans have been dying to know what Retro Studios is planning as far as what game that they are developing for the Wii U. The two most popular results are either a new Metroid game or a new Star Fox game. So I want to ask YOU what do you think Retro Studios is most likely working on, Metroid or Star Fox?

Wii U To Have An Achievement System?

TECHTROID has recently talked with a anonymous developer who is stating that the Wii U will have an achievement system. He says that this feature will have a “Nintendo-spin” which will make it unique and will differ from other consoles. 

This seems very likely but until Nintendo officially announces it, this is just a rumor, a really likely rumor :D

Nintendo Streaming Pre-E3 Direction Presentation Tomorrow

Nintendo has announced that they are streaming a direct presentation tomorrow. This will be shown tomorrow night at 6:00pm EDT/11:00pm UK. Satoru Iwata promised new Wii U information to be revealed during the stream. This will be shown presentation will be shown HERE

The Results For This Week’s Question Of The Week: ‘Favorite Nintendo Franchise’

With a total of over 60 people participating in this poll, here are the results for this week’s question of the week. As you can see a lot of participants voted for Legend of Zelda with Pokemon trailing behind.

I was actually not very surprised that Legend of Zelda came out on top because it truly is an amazing series but I grew up with Mario so I can see why this was hard for some of you. I think we can all agree that Nintendo is beast when it comes to their 1st party games because each game of theirs is uqiune in their own way.
