Nintendo Reveals Wii U Pro Controller 

During Nintendo Direct, Iwata revealed a brand new controller named “Wii U Pro Controller”. This is based on the classic controller pro for Wii. Just like the Wii U GamePad, this will also have clickable buttons. They have designed this controller specifically for multi-platform games. 

The only question is can this controller be used to play classic games like downloadable N64 or Gamecube games? 

Wii U GamePad Controller Details 

Today during the Nintendo direct presentation, Iwata has announced that the Wii U controller or “GamePad” will feature clickable analogue sticks. He also states that the redesigned controller will make it more comfortable to hold due to the hand grips. That’s not all though, he also states that you can use the Wii U GamePad as a television remote. 

It just gets better and better :D 

Nintendo Streaming Pre-E3 Direction Presentation Tomorrow

Nintendo has announced that they are streaming a direct presentation tomorrow. This will be shown tomorrow night at 6:00pm EDT/11:00pm UK. Satoru Iwata promised new Wii U information to be revealed during the stream. This will be shown presentation will be shown HERE

Nintendo Teases 3 New Wii U Launch Titles On Facebook

It’s bad that we have to wait 6 more agonizing days for E3 but Nintendo decides to make it worst by teasing us with 3 Wii U first party launch titles on their facebook: 

”Guess what the initial game releases will be for Nintendo’s new home console, Wii U? Soon we’ll scratch off to reveal the names! ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒.”

Well we already know that they plan to show off a brand new Super Mario Bros game & Pikimin 3 but what could be the 3rd game?

Nintendo Details Their E3 2012 Coverage

For those of you who are not attending to this years E3 event, Nintendo has announced that they will provide online streaming so that people at home can sit back and watch the Nintendo’s live E3 press conference. Here are times that will start in your region: 

• Pacific - 9am
• Eastern - 12pm
• United Kingdom - 5pm
• Central European Time - 6pm
• Canberra, Australia - 2am Wednesday 

If you live in the U.S. you can watch the show live and ad-free on either Spike or MTV2. Not only that but there will be an abundance of videos posted on Nintendo’s YouTube channel and multiple posts/tweets from their Twitter & Facebook.

“We don’t want anyone to miss the energy and excitement of this year’s E3 Expo,” said Cindy Gordon, Nintendo of America’s vice president of Corporate Affairs. “By offering different ways to tune in and follow all the Nintendo news, we aim to make fans all over the world feel like they’re right there with us at the show.”

Mario Kart 7 Update Available Now

Nintendo has officially announced that they have made an update for Mario Kart 7 which will patch up the shortcut glitches when playing online on these courses: 

• Wuhu Mountain Loop
• Wuhu Island Loop
• GBA Bowser Castle 1

This update is available for free via Nintendo eShop now. If you haven’t dowownloaded this update you will no longer be able to play online multiplayer in Mario Kart 7.
