The Results For This Week’s Question Of The Week: ‘Favorite Nintendo Franchise’

With a total of over 60 people participating in this poll, here are the results for this week’s question of the week. As you can see a lot of participants voted for Legend of Zelda with Pokemon trailing behind.

I was actually not very surprised that Legend of Zelda came out on top because it truly is an amazing series but I grew up with Mario so I can see why this was hard for some of you. I think we can all agree that Nintendo is beast when it comes to their 1st party games because each game of theirs is uqiune in their own way.

Animal Crossing 3D Will Be “Richer” Than Previous Games

Satoru Iwata claims that the upcoming Animal Crossing: Jump Out will take full advantage of the Nintendo 3DS unique capabilities to deliver “richer” experience than those found in previous Animal Crossing titles: 

“When the company can finalize the development of the software which takes full advantage of these unique functions, for example, if we can do so with the new Animal Crossing for the Nintendo 3DS, our consumers will be able to feel and realise that the new Animal Crossing is not only a richer version of its predecessors but also how positively such functions can affect their play experiences.”

Animal Crossing 3D Arriving September 28th? 

We all know that Animal Crossing for the 3DS will for sure be coming this year but do we actually have a release date? Amazon France has listed a release date for Animal Crossing 3D which is set for September 28th.

This seems like a legitimate release date so lets hope this is true. Nintendo should be announcing the confirmed release date at E3. 

Animal Crossing 3DS, Luigi’s Mansion 2, Mario Tennis 3D & Paper Mario 3D All To Be Released This Year

Nintendo has reconfirmed that Animal Crossing 3DS, Luigi’s Mansion 2, Paper Mario 3D & Mario Tennis 3D will all be due to release this year in Japan. The dates for North America and Europe are listed as “to be determined” but I’m pretty sure they are all coming out this year also. We will probably hear more at this years E3. 

Animal Crossing 3DS (Details)

The Official Nintendo Magazine has gushed out a bunch of Animal Crossing 3DS details, we still are not in knowing of when it is being released but rest assured it will be sometime this year:

• Add benches, street lamps, and more to make the villagers happier
• Secretary will help you out
• The secretary is a new character in the Animal Crossing series
• Secretary looks somewhat like a dog, is clumsy
• “chatting with her may be one of the game’s highlights”
• Secretary walks around with a clipboard sometimes
• She’ll point out town areas that look good or may need work
• Design every aspect of your house; even the design of the mailbox and type of color fencing
• Redesign the inside, too
• Can still buy/place/arrange furniture
• Not limited to particular furniture designs
• Take your furniture to a special upholsterer shop to have it recolored and redesigned
• Separate top and bottom outfit designs
• Layout of the village is “said to be a lot bigger this time than ever with many separate sections”
• Beach is a larger area that you walk down a cliffside path rather than just being a patch of sand
• Swim in the sea, walk barefoot across the sand
• Check the railroad and see what’s beyond them
• You’ll find The Mall past the rail tracks that has tons of shops and model homes
• The model homes are empty, but they’ll give you an area of how you can style your own home
• Each time you walk pass someone with StreetPass enabled, their own house will be added to the collection of model homes
• Tom Nook is in charge of the model homes
• Mystery island found near the beach
